All this is done with support from relevant literature. 4/10 WORKFORCE AND INCLUSION In the Workforce section, Marriott Hotels Resorts mention that the people within the organization are valued highly as they are integral to high quality of services. Moreover, it is mentioned that employees influence customer satisfaction and operational costs more so than other elements of the organization. Thus, Marriott is investing excessively into its workforce and providing personal and proffessional rewards. It appears that recruitment and retention of the workforce is an essential topic to Marriott Hotels Resorts. In brief, Marriott has made efforts to facilitate the processes connected to recruiting and retaining a skilled workforce, which include resistance to outsourcing, attracting world ­class talent, establishment of a career site available in many languages, studies regarding employee experiences and firm culture, which helped identify shared values and publish best practices among the hotels of the chain (Marriott International, I NC., 2010).
